Kenya Wildlife Service safeguards threatened and nationally important wildlife by developing policies, guidelines and recovery action plans. We track population status, apply research and expert advice, and coordinate priority interventions—including sanctuaries, introductions, reintroductions and supplementation. Working with partners, we translate evidence into practical actions that support long-term species recovery.
